Established in 2007, Camille’s Culinary Creations is a Black-owned, women-led business driven by a dynamic mother-daughter partnership. We have built a reputation for our diverse, ever-evolving menu, drawing inspiration from cuisines around the globe.
As a self-taught chef with a talent for blending flavors and a creative background, Camille's food captivates both the eye and the palate. She skillfully crafts unforgettable dishes with passion and creativity, blending flavors that inspire and evoke nostalgia in every bite.
Ingredients truly inspire my cooking! The versatility of each one fills me with joy. I grew up immersed in a rich culinary environment cooking alongside my grandma, baking with my mom, bbqing with my dad, and learning butchering techniques from my grandpa. My multicultural background has taught me that many dishes are surprisingly similar, with just a few tweaks transforming their taste and appearance. Now as a caterer, my clients inspire and challenge me, keeping my culinary creativity flowing!
White Spaghetti is a dish I grew up enjoying at my grandparents house usually on Meatless Fridays. It’s an olive oil sauce with melted anchovies, onions, garlic, pine nuts, and Parmesan. I've made this dish my entire life, and it was especially meaningful to prepare it for my grandfather while I cared for him alongside my mom until he passed at 100. This dish has graced many dinner parties, and is equally as delicious when curled up on the couch with a fire and a movie!
As a child, when my sisters and I needed to earn money for things like summer camp or big trips—like the time I went to Japan—we’d bake cookies and sell them to our neighbors. Two of them happened to be studio security guards, and they brought the cookies to work and sold them on our behalf. That early hustle showed me the joy of sharing food and the power it had to connect people. It planted the seed for what would eventually grow into a career in baking and catering.
Flavor is what sets my baked goods apart. So many recipes play it safe—they lack boldness because people are afraid to go too far. Not me. I can’t stand when a cookie looks amazing but tastes bland. I believe that every bite should leave an impression. I’ve always baked because I genuinely love it, but what makes it even more meaningful is seeing someone’s face light up with that first bite. It’s about creating joy and comfort through flavor—that’s what keeps me inspired.
Being a part of their success—whether it’s helping make an event unforgettable or keeping a film crew happy and productive on set—is what drives me. I often hear about crews experiencing ‘catering fatigue,’ but not with us as Camille will take their palates around the world with every delicious meal.
I like to talk to our clients, something that’s become a bit of a novelty these days, since most people prefer to email. But speaking directly with them helps me understand exactly what they’re looking for, so we can deliver precisely what they need—and more.
